Be specific when you state the genre of music that you listen to most often. For example: pop, classic rock, progressive rock, metal, oldies. List bands/singers.
I'm just curious whether or not people's taste in music affects their grades in school.I have a 3.738 GPA and a class rank of 19th out of 364.
But that includes three AP classes, all of which I've obtained A's on but my school does not weight them more heavily than other classes (so I can't obtain above a 4.0 like some people here).
My favorite genre of music is Melodic Death Metal, with bands such as Dark Tranquillity and Kalmah leading my favorites for that. I also listen to Folk Metal and Viking Metal a fair amount, along with various forms of Death Metal. I have recently been really getting into Symphonic Black Metal (You can thank Ceremonial Castings and Emperor for that one). My favorite band is Behemoth (Blackened Death Metal right there).
And yes, I am a bit of an elitist when it comes to my music.
