i finally downloaded itunes after it went screwy, but now all the music in my library is gone....

how do i get the music thats on my ipod already onto my itunes library? i asked this question before and i got a very good answer but i commented on it too late to ask a question so she never got it.. any other help?If you have lost it on the computer. (It happened to me). You can retrieve it. DO NOT PLUG THE IPOD IN. Doing so will simply clean it out of your IPOD. If you are on a PC. Open Itunes on the computer. Click on file Then from the drop down menu. Click on ADD FOLDER TO LIBRARY.Then Click on MUSIC (This file should show up on the left side of the box that open up). . Scroll down to the I TUNES folder. You can export the entire library. or you can open it (With the left click button). and export individual CDs or artists.
