How do I record the video on the tv from my video camera with my dvd recorder?

I hooked my video camera up to the tv so it plays on the tv but I can't figure out how to record it with my dvd recorder. Does anyone know how to do this and is it even possible? I can't hook my video camera up to the computer.Yes. You need to plug the camcorder into the DVD recorder's inputs using either a firewire/DV cable (newer camcorder) or composite video cables (yellow, white, & red). Then you have to set the DVD recorder for the proper input. (You set the TV as if to watch a DVD from the recorder, start flv to video converter playing your camcorder, and see which DVD recorder input lets you see and hear the camcorder playing.) To record to DVD you just play back a recording on your camcorder and record on the DVD recorder. With DV, you may be able to operate your camcorder through your DVD recorder, which will make the recording easier to synchronize.
