I have a windows XP Professional computer that I just reinstalled windows in, i deleted everything using DBAN, now I'm trying to get my network connection back.

i have windows vista and a 17" widescreen monitor. Normally the resolution is set at 1440x900 but it changed to 800x600 by itself and when i try to change it, it doesnt give me widescreen resolution options. How do i fix this? ive already tried reinstalling the monitor driver.
