How do I transfer files from my pc to my mac using a network connection?

If you're using Yahoo, you just click the attachment link at the bottom of the message and there will be a dialog that pops up asking you if you want to open it or save it, unless you have preconfigured options.
In Gmail, there's a list of attachments at the end of the message, with options "View as HTML," "Download," etc. Click download and the dialog mentioned above should pop up.
all the featres were different i would have to say but when you get used to it you will find it easier than a pc all over.DVD to Apple TV Converter, award-winning DVD to Apple TV Video Converter to rip, proves professional to convert DVD to Apple TV video easily.

I am on a pc and trying to open some older files from a old laptop of a friend that are all in the pages format from their mac. I don't have a mac, but need to open them. I have looked for an online converter or something to do it but can't find anything. Short of emailing them to a friend with a mac or buying a mac myself is there any other option to get these open?
They open on my Windows XP box. What is the message you get when you try to open them? If you have a file called "Friend_letter.pages" and you view it in a "My Computer" window, it should look like a folder, because all Pages files are actually packages. Inside the folder should be other folders. One of those is QuickLook. Inside that there can be one or more files.DVD to Gphone Converter, you can put DVD on Gphone(G1)with functions including DVD subtitle.
You should find a "Thumbnail.jpg" and if you open that, you can read all the text. If the file was saved with a preview, you will also see "Preview.PDF". If the file had images added, they should be in the ""Friend_letter.pages" folder also, as well as embedded in the Thumbnail.jpg and the Preview.PDF.
If you need to edit and save a Pages document, you need a Mac. If your friend wanted you to use these documents, and he knew you didn't have a Mac, why didn't he export them from Pages? He can export as a Word document and Bob's your uncle.
