How can I have my Time Machine hard drive be accessible by non-Mac computers?

Firstly install this program on your windows computer. When you plug your iPod to the computer, this program will instantly display all songs and videos on the iPod.You simply select what you wish to transfer and click "Copy" button. Done. All your selected files will be copied to your computer safely. Now you can easily add those songs and videos to your iTunes library. See detailed guide.
More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved.Pornotube converter is also a powerful video converter.
there is step-by-step guide on the whole process
You can't reconnect it (not easily, anyway, it's connected internally). Try opening iChat and seeing if you can choose "Video Preview" under the Video menu. You can also go under the Apple menu to "About this Mac", click the "More Info" button in the window that appears, and then click "USB" on the left. "Built-in iSight" should show up in the list. If it's not working, I'd try reinstalling the system software. Otherwise it's probably a defective camera or some other hardware issue, and probably needs to be looked at by a service technician. As a cheap alternative, you can get pretty good standalone cameras from Macally.com or eCamm.com.

I recently had this problem and used Media Widget..google it. You can transfer 10 songs at a time for free but if you buy the software it automically does the whole lot in once..it cost me $20 but it was worth it as i had 6000 songs on my ipod..
Good Luck
Just transfer you iPod files to your new windows computer.
If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop.User Interface Flash Tool Tip Components Classic Tooltip.
Hope it helps!
The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-pc transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer.
