What is the best computer set up to use with a dance music production software such as FL Studio?

in terms of dual core, quad core, what sound card and is mac a better option? logic studio? etc. thank u in advance
to use FL Studio at the same time as other software you will need a ReWire Master program. there are a few on the market like cubase, ableton and protools. all of these also have options to use (or not use) multicore processors - usual in the "Settings" or "Preferences" sections. with protools you'll need a specfic sound card whereas with cubase or ableton pretty much any will be compatible. so your choice will be down to your needs - how many inputs/outputs, mic/line, etc. cubase and ableton are good for dance music as they are both very advanced with using MIDI. MOTU and M-Audio are always good options. the Mac Vs. PC debate is too close to say these days - just the best spec'd unit you can afford - both will do the job.
