In a way I guess - but I'd say it is a good family movie -it's very funny in parts and dark in others.

In the UK and Australia it was rated America's equivalent to PG-13.
Usually the first couple days anywhere are sold out completely, but after the first week or so, mostly everyone has seen it that really wanted to so it doesn't get sold out.they will tell you that you need to audition for some plays at your school or at a community theatre. One scene I remember distinctly is when you find out that the father knows of the daughter's birthmark or mole, and it meant that he actually did sleep with her although it is never shown and only hinted at in the movie.
