How do I access remote commands to a Mac via Vista?

i know this question has been asked before but i finally just got my new mac laptop and i'm ready to start making movies on it. i have about $400 to spend on a video camera and want to know the best one for this job. what has the best quality? what will connect to my computer?

Your computer probably has a firewire port, but you will need a wire to hook you camera to the computer, (the wire is sold with the camcorder). For this specific camcorder you would want a 4pin to 2pin firewire.
