What is a good mac computer to work with photo editing?

anything except the mac mini or the macbook air but it depends wat he wants them to do. all of them are pretty good.
Yeah skype is free and i am pretty sure it works on macs it doesn't work on my mac but i have an eMac which is ancient so anything newer than an eMac should work for skype
Use Skype. It's free between Skype users, and costs nothing. It is also cross-platform so you can talk to PC users who have it as well.
iChat is great, but yes, if you want to use it outside your home, you will have to have a .me accoun
There are a couple of ways. You can copy your media to a hard drive (it's as simple as dragging, or copying and pasting). You can get some really great hard drives from Iomega. They are quite cheap. You can also sync your media onto an iPod, and then find a ripping application for mac such as, Music Rescue, iPod Rip, or Xilisoft. Assuming you do not already have a portable hard drive or an iPod, you can share it online with Simplifymedia, which is free, but harder than the other ways. I hope this helps.
