During the summer of 2006, I maintained about 80% of my business to Mac, we are a design agency, so most people wanted anyway Mac. I continued to listen to their strengths - how the OS has never crashed, how it has worked just the way you do not need to reboot every day - and dismissed their blind desire of googly eyes to Apple fans.
But something has changed. People began to do things quickly. Work began flowing faster (I estimate about a third). After seeing how I could continue to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel on a Mac using Parallels, I decided to do it myself.
I updated the PC business is still high-end Mac - to the tune of about $ 4,000 each. Gave each of 8 GB of RAM (probably excessive), video cards top, and two Samsung 24-inch screens.
Words can not describe how productivity has increased, including mine. The same machine, two years later, is on my desktop, and works perfectly all day. On the left, I have my Mac desktop, where I am on the web, listening to music, search for files using Spotlight (much better than Windows Search), prepare presentations (in Keynote - far superior to Powerpoint) and search for files on our file server public (even a PC).
